While we look back, learn from, heal from and pay reverence to those activists who are now departed ancestors, we would be remiss to not celebrate give flowers and love to the amazing ancestors still walking in our midst.
So many of them are, without acknowledgement, fighting for the most marginalised, whilst often being marginalised and endangered themselves.
